New season = new decor. This doesn't mean that you have to go out of your way and spend a lot of money. When I think of spring, I think of snow melting, warmer weather, leaves on the trees. Although this isn't the case where I live since it's currently snowing.. But what can you do? So, here are things that I to buy or DIY when it comes to changing things up for spring!! You may notice that I like walmart... It's a lot less expensive - Student Probs. Although, most things aren't worth spending all that mulla on, so Walmart is awesome.
First and for most are Plants! I love plants, and I am surprisingly good at keeping them alive! If you aren't, buy plants that require little water. Cactus or a fern. Here are some plants that I am planning on getting!
Next up is ... Bedding. The great thing with this is that you can have two separate sets of bedding for the year. One for the winter and the other for the summer. This gives your room a complete make over. And if you keep the same bedding, it should last years. My favourite bedding colours for summer are lilac, cyan and green. I love these summer colours. In the winter I like to stick with muted colours like grays, and beiges.
You can also easily change up the look of your bathroom by changing the accessories. You can either switch them during the year, or maybe you're ready for a change. This spring stick to whites and light colours. Or you can create a nature theme, using greens, browns and blacks. You can even have a plant in the bathroom.
