You do not need to spend a lot of money for a good hair mask. These recipes are great for dry hair, coloured hair and damaged hair.
1. Avocado & Mango Moisture Making Mask
Recipe: Take half a mango, half of an avocado and some olive oil.
Benefits: Mango is wonderful for hair because it contains Vitamin A. Vitamin A is necessary for hair growth because the sebum requires it. It is a great moisturizer
Avocado is known for being great for your health. The fruit contains a lot of healthy fats which are important in maintaining healthy hair. It also contains protein - something we all know helps the quality of the hair. Avocados have various vitamins, including vitamin E which is important for your scalp.
Olive Oil promotes scalp health and is a great moisturizer for the hair.
2. RED hair mask (Berries), Copper (Carrots), Brown (unsweetened cocoa)
Recipe: A cup of Blended Berries or Carrots, or a couple teaspoons of cocoa, in a cup of olive oil with half of a banana.
Benefits: Use fruits and vegetables to give your hair colour a boost. The olive oil and the banana will add some extra moisture and some potassium.
3. Protein Power Mask
Recipe: 1 raw egg yolk, half coconut oil/ half olive oil, a tablespoon of smooth peanut butter (or peanut paste).
Benefits: Your hair is made up of protein, and your scalp needs it to grow more hair. Use this recipe to give your hair that protein boost it needs. This is perfect for damaged hair. (You may need to shampoo a couple times to remove everything)
